21 today Spark?

It was the Birth date of a Good One,
and I ask you lend me an ear........
Not only was our man PAPI born in 52,
But that was also a rare "Leap Year"....

His good, loyal, parents did their thing,
His Mom, on that Monday, was feeling weak..
Rushed to the Hospital, gave birth,
and was the start of a "Special" week....

Dad was being very boisterous and proud,
Mom was satisfied and extremely Happy,
Never once did the visualize that years later,
This bundle, will affectionately be called "PAPI"...

Now you can go through History Archives,
and continually read and then turn the page,
But I'll make it easy for you, also on this date,
Was the Birth of the famous "Satchel Page"...

1952 was a good year, not just cause of Spark,
But here's some more of the good reasons....
The Yankess take the Dodgers in the World Series,
To cap off, yet another good Yankee season....

And while this brand new Baby,
In his early age Diapers, he was donned...
In the NCAA BasketBall cahampionship,
Kansas was a 80-63 winner over St Johns...

While the Parents were admiring their Child,
Making plans and dreams, and trying to be rational...
In the NBA finals, the Minneapolis Lakers,
were taking the championship from the Syracuse Nationals....

His Parents, were still envisioning what things,
Careers, they hoped Lil Joe would Exploit,
When he would tilt his head to the side, glance at TV,
and see the NFL Championship being won by Detroit...

Many a times while Lil Joe was growing up,
you'd find him trying to get into some kind of Park...
No one had any ideas or visions of may years later,
He would be so loved, and affectionately known as Spark...

His real age is a mystery to all of us,
and maybe we'll find out in the end....
But what we all do know for a fact is,
Due to his age, he wears "Depends".......

Papi is one of the Mods at Bettors Chat Now,
and he many a days takes a lot of abuse....
But one thing, all can really say about him,
Spark, never tries, to cover his age with an excuse...

It's been many of Days my good friend PAPI,
Since the origin of your Famous "Birth",
And I still don't understand the others saying,
That you're much older than "Dirt".........

I've had my fun with you via my Poem Papi,
But what I really mean and want to say.......
Is the mere fact that all of us dearly love you,
and we all wish you a "Happy BirthDay"......

You'll have many more birthdays for sure Papi,
and our abuse, sick kind of love, will never end...
To some it may be hard to explain, or justify,
But to us, we know, you'll always be a "Friend"............
