Hi Bettorschat Family,
As a statistics geek by occupation and a sports fan in my spare time, I recently developed a formula for predicting MLB games against the spread. Considering that one season of baseball contains such a large sample size relative to other sports, it has always been my goal to find enough spare time to write a macro based on regression analysis that might find success as a predictive tool. As the sample size increases for an entire season, the standard deviation decreases and one can say more confidently that a predictive formula is or is not a success. I've had success in primary trials of this script, but I will save everyone the trouble and just post my plays here in hopes of continuing that success. My hope is that this formula may eventually serve as a tool to assist cappers and since I only have limited opportunities to visit Las Vegas, I wanted to share with a group that may be able to appreciate the results. Watch as the whole thing craps out as soon as I post the plays.
