That is my guess. The NL is tough cuz of all the Left handed bats. That's why i put Wright up in the 3 hole just to break it up a little.

The A.L. should start Santana or Sabathia against this lineup!

That way in the NL there are only 3 Lefties in a row. That is minimalizing that. Bonds might even go up to third since it is his home park and Beltran fourth to break it up.

By Position
C - Martin is a solid hitter and younger. Pudge is still a defensive force and a solid offensive contributor. Edge - AL

1B - Fielder is a young stud and Ortiz has not been himself like most AL All-Stars from last year. This year Edge - NL (This year only not career here)

2B - Polanco is the best #2 hitter in all of baseball right now. he moves guys over and does whatever you need him to. Utley is better offensively and they are about the same defensively. Edge- NL

3B - Arod Wright Both are deserving but Cabrera needed to start here. Edge - AL

SS - Reyes Jeter I am calling this a tie but I would consider giving the edge to Reyes because he is electric. He can do anything he wants and he is a spakplug on any team. Edge = Tie

OF Edge - AL I dont even need to explain why here.

Pitching - Edge I gotta say its a Tie. You never know what you are gonna get with 5 #1 starters and top closers.

All in all the AL has a slight edge mostly because this is a popularity contest and people like Miguel Cabrera and Matt Holliday deserve to start over Wright and Bonds and even Griffey. The AL got a lot of positions correct in who should be there. If Chris Young does not get voted on there is something seriously wrong with people though.
