  • How Bad Are The Yankees

    HOW BAD ARE THE YANKEES.

The A's just one hit them, which also extends the Yankees scoreless streak to 16 innings without a run. I can't remember the last time the A's won a series at Yankee Stadium.

The Yankees had a couple of good weeks after their bad start, but they have reverted back to losing again and are now 2-8 their last 10 games.

    AND THAT'S BAD.

too many older players SAMDMAN,bullpen is not what it used to be and it seems like they have no one to lite a fire under their ass.the farm team is injured and depleated so they can't go there so it looks like they are stuck with what they have.this year is already history so they better start looking to trade off some of that talent and get some younger stars
to build their future.personally i hate the yankees and im not upset at all that they are losing like this, they deserve a bad run like everyone else has and now its time to put the money in the bank and start from scratch.

I dont know why but I like the Yanks......I think they have alot of class with Arod, Damon, Jeter and the other old guys...but old guys tend to get hurt..........I'm not ready to write them off yet because they seem to always find away to get into the playoffs.....

to answer your question a day late----as of the 2nd inning, still in it, A's are leading 8-0.......Time for total restructure for the Yanks, and go throught the normal 2-5 years of rebuilding.....Give the Dynasty a rest, retire the old one, and rebuild a new one..........I agree with ya, and Savage 1.....

Lots of money spent on the team, but plenty of money MADE betting against them. Always getting a dog.
            Good Luck to everyone

I think Steve Phillips mentioned prior to the A's series that if the Yankees split their remaining games with the Red Sox and win 2 out of 3 in EVERY series the rest of the way, the end up with 91 wins and that will not be good enough for the post season.

Three Jack. That's nice to see although it dosen't matter because they aren't going to win every series the rest of the way. I've been fading them automatically since the anti Clemens play I posted, their last game in Colorado. It's been great and I'm fading them tonight too. Even if they just play .500 ball the next couple of series, fading them makes money as long as the lines stay way too high. I just played Minny at +179. I'll probally keep fading them until they win two in a row. Losing two plays against them dosen't lose much more than what one play wins.
