  • NASCAR Talk ~ Loudon 7/1

Who do you guys like this weekend? Hendrick and Gibbs cars should be strong ...

Ryan Newman should have a good qualifying ... his avg start at Loudon is 5.8 over his 10 races at the track .. getting the pole 4 times (July'06, July'04, Sept'03, Sept'02) and only starting outside the top 10 twice.

Tony Stewart has finished in the top 5 in 4 of the last 5 races at Loudon .... the lone time outside the top 5 was last years' July race when he was put in the wall exiting turn 3 by -ahem- Ryan Newman.

Kevin Harvick has mastered the COT ... if he has a good qualifying run, he could dominate like he did last Sept.

Also will look at Jeff Gordon, who has the best avg finish out of any driver at Loudon, and Mark Martin ... does anyone know if he's behind the 01 this weekend or not??? Always has run well there ....

Who do you guys like ???? Anyone else heading to the race ????

I like Truex to have another strong run this weekend.

Also, Mart Martin is not racing this weekend.

dont laugh but the #43 team has a very good flat track program....they most likely wont win but they are a legit threat for a top ten in New Hampshire....they run their best at flat tracks like Loudon,Phoenix and Martinsville...If Labonte can qualify in the top 8 I will put a unit on them at some very long odds....GOOD LUCK and I will post my picks after happy hour results are done on Saturday

#55 ... looking forward to your picks .... Ya it would be nice to see Labonte return to championship form, especially with Petty Ent .... they had a decent qualifying run at Sonoma ... tough that the 43 ran out of gas on the f'n last lap .... might be worth a look at a top 10 wager if they have a good qual I agree ...

Truex has won on the track before .... are to argue against that esp given his success recently ... & thanks for the Martin info...

I also don't think a crew chief suspension will effect Jeff Gordon ... looking for him to have a strong qual. Playing my 1st NASCAR qualifying matchup of the year:

Clint Bowyer -140 over Casey Mears for 1 lap unit.

            GL !!!

I will research it ... but I know off the top of my head that McMurray sucked in qual for both races last year, starting 42nd and like 38 or 39 ...

BetUS.com has them ... they ususlly go off the board when the 1st practice starts, so you have to get 'em in early ...
