I have in my day had a day like this one ... and they are hard to swallow ! [ 3rd-4th-5th ]

It was a very screwy-day and as the horses go a very chaulky day to boot . I would have loved to hit that pick-6 [ 600,000.00 + ]

Would have made my week !

It was a tough day yesterday, lost some of OTB's money from Saturday. I normally shy away from rainy days at the track, but, being that it was the last day at the Spa, and, in addition, the Pick 6 carryover, I had to play.

Hit a couple early Pick 3's, exacta's and tri's, however, the middle races, specifically races 6-9 hurt. Hit the late double and final race exacta.

I appreciate your posts regarding the greyhounds, and admire your work with them.

My hats off to you , I am but a fledgeling at those ponies and need alot of help when visiting the horse track. I have friends who have box seats at Arlington and go down often from Wis. when I can . But they laugh at me when they ask what I think .... and they are right far more often than not !

You and the Wiz seem to have a handle on that end of things , keep up the work because I use both of you when I can .

By the way, I'm from New Jersey, and currently live in NY City. However, I was a bond trader for 11 years both here in NY and also in Chicago, and made a special point to go out to Arlington on a couple of weekends with some friends, lawn chairs, and a cooler and spent some quality time relaxing. What a beautiful track!!!

Also, happen to go up to Lake Geneva, then to the UP of Michigan, the end of October for vacation. What a throwback in time.

It just so happens I live on the west-end of Lake Geneva , in a small town called Fontana [ named after my late husbands family]

If your ever up in this neck of the woods let me know , I will traey you to a nite at our local tracks . It is a very nice place to live and I love it here , I was raised in Fla. and have tons of family there and wont go back if they gave me the whole state !

Again I await your picks [ and Wiz`s ] and hope we can gettem !
