          Draft

seattle looks good, don't know what the heck the celtics are thinking. Ray allen and Paul Pierce, are they trying to trade for Kobe?
I feel sorry for A.C Law and AL Horford, (2 great players)
detroit got the shooting out of the way at # 15 with rodney stuckey (Eastern washington, awesome)

Nick Fazekas is flat out awesome which is why I think Dallas took him, they did not dream he would still be there, but not a good fit.

Mcroberts to the trail blazers, I don't know about that.
YI was the worst pick just because he already said he doesn't want to play for Milwaukee.

and here it is the steal and I mean steal of the draft. And with the 28th pick of the draft the san antonio spurs select Tiago Splitter who is from brazil. All of you are saying who ?? Tiago Splitter remember the name, from Brazil, and played in Spain this guy was supposed to a lottery pick last year, then he decided he was too young and opted out of the draft before anyone even noticed. Just like San Antonio to have that kind of scouting to actually remember this kid from a year ago. He is no durant, oden , or horford, but I'm telling you he is gooood especially at pick 28.

Lasme would be an awesome pick for boston, you may not even need to draft him, he is still available.

he is a hometown boy that would love swatting shots for boston

What a steal for GS to get Brandon! As a Warriors fan I like it!!
Tough to let go of J Rich but its a great move as we get freed up from his salary too.
                  NFL
                  5* 1-0
                  2* 6-2-1
                  1* 9-4
                  total = 16-6-1

i think the celtics did well with the ray allen trade. i seem to be in the minority on that one though

                    • Obviously, Ray Allen is still a stud, but I think giving up the #5 pick for him is way too much...I guess it all depends on how good Jeff Green becomes...we'll see.

                      • the J Rich for Wright trade is a travesty.... not a big fan of jrich

                        • Boston Celtics-- Ainge wants to keep his job and was high on Allen to help him to do just that. A newcomer drated at this position is generally 70% assured of playing with any degree of minutes this next season I suppose-- and may or may not be the player that you were hoping for- also may be proned to injury- Allen has smarts and can play for a few more years with experience and determination.
Was it a wise move- Yes- probably due to getting the Celts into the playoffs- remember the Celts had an incredible ATS record in the second half- so they did not quit in the games. Allen is added to the mix to keep the games competive even more.
                          I like it!

                          • My picks for best 5 drafts have to be the combinations that opposing teams will have to adjust to.

                            Atlanta
No team filled more needs with two picks than the Hawks, getting inside scoring in Al Horford and the point guard to lead them for the next decade in Acie Law, who is steady, strong, tough and versatile.

                            Chicago
If ever a team made its perfect pick, it's Joakim Noah to the Bulls. His energy and defense are just what the Bulls need as they continue to build one of the best young rosters in the league. Noah will have an impact without having to have plays called for him. He and Ben Wallace give Chicago a formidable defensive duo.

                            Minny
If the Timberwolves keep Kevin Garnett, he will have a capable running mate in Corey Brewer. He was the best perimeter defender in the draft and at 6-9 has the quickness, size and speed to play either forward spot and shooting guard.

                            Portland
One of the youngest and most improved teams in the league last season landed a player for the ages in Oden. He will team with last season's rookie of the year, Brandon Roy. These two could be on their way to becoming a formidable inside-outside combination to rival Yao and T-Mac of Houston and Tim Duncan and Tony Parker of San Antonio. Oden's defense alone will be worth 10 more wins

                            Seattle
Durant will be an immediate force with his all-around skills, scoring from anywhere on the floor. By trading Ray Allen for Boston's pick, Jeff Green, Seattle will probably play 6-9 Durant at shooting guard, creating a matchup nightmare. Green is a steady, do-everything forward. Expect both to be starters from Day 1.
