I split on dogs last night to grind out a small profit as the Cubs won (weirdest game of the night) and the Nationals lost.
1* Rangers/Tigers OVER 10 1/2
Texas has the best offense in baseball right now. Don't laugh. It's just that their pitching is awful. This makes for a great play on the over, especially in this matchup. The Rangers have scored an astonishing 35 runs their last four games, 63 in their last eight and 80 in their last eleven. That's an average of over seven runs a game over a long stretch. Tonight they send out a guy making his first start of the year after pitching mostly in middle relief. Detroit's starter, Robertson, is the weak link of their staff and has an 8.57 ERA HIS LAST FIVE STARTS! I haven't won a total yet this year but it's been a long time since I found one this compelling.
Opinions only:
Astros OVER (two pitchers who never go past six innings and two shaky bullpens)
