  • Tuesday Baseball - some live dogs

I haven't had time to do much handicapping lately so I haven't posted. I looked over today's card, though, and there are some dogs that really look juicy to me.

    Cleveland +111
    Texas +195
    Boston +125

I'm leaning to Pitt and Colorado as well.

    Good luck today.

Chad, if you look at the numbers for these two starters for the last 3 games...
Maholm has a WHIP of 1.40 and an ERA of 3.72.
Willis in his last 3 has a WHIP of 1.73 and an ERA of 6.00. He hasn't exactly been a model of consistency this season.

Marlins really do hit LHPs well, though, so I'm still undecided on this one.

Last season doesnt matter IMO....the O's have very poor offense production #'s vs. Pettitte lifetime.....

Someone please talk me out of this one.
Astros +130 Wandy has been steadily improving and Vargas' numbers are going the other way. Rodriguez can hit his spots and with a BHP ump that calls over 64% strikes that could be a good thing. The problem is that the Astros bullpen will eventually enter the game. Houston has been scoring a ton of runs the last several games. The thing that really caught my eye was the line movement. People and/or groups with a lot more money than me like the Stros in this one.
