  • ANOTHER BIG DOG -- Check This Out

Last week I posted a play on Colorado against the Yankees and I got it at +178. This was the game Clemens pitched and I gave a couple of reasons why I thought Clemens wouldn't get past the middle innings. He didn't, we won.

I found another BIG DOG that goes tonight and the line is still moving higher. We have a team that has SCORED A TOTAL OF ONE RUN in their last five games. They have been shutout four of their last five games and they are the favorite tonight. Incredible. But, I'm not done yet.

The pitcher for our big dog has GIVEN UP JUST ONE RUN IN FOUR OF HIS PAST STARTS and is pitching into the 7th inning. You look at all this and wonder how can anyone say the linemakers have the right team favored. I don't use the L Word, but if I did................. however, I like the G word, because anyone can see, this line is a GIFT. So everyone,

    PLAY WASHINGTON +174

I know Hudson is starting for Atlanta, but after a good start this season, his ERA in May was 4.35 and so far this June it is 6.10.

No matter how good I make this play sound, nothing is guarenteed. So, be careful and just play what you can afford to lose.

    GL Sandman!

    I like Washington as well!

Atlanta has fallen on hard times lately and Washington has played well on the road.

Hard to believe the Braves can be favored over anyone with one run in 46 innings.

Even harder to imagine them as 9/5 .

It seems too good to be true, but I'll bite.

I took the Nats + 1 1/2 at a decent value....I like that Buffer, in case the oddsmakers know something we don't.....I like your logic here....kapt

Looks like the oddsmakers did know something I didn't. But with these numbers, I would do the same thing again. It was just one bad inning that did us in. If nothing else, this play proved, once again, there is no such thing as a lock.

I just realized what I did wrong, although even knowing this, I still would have made the same play. I didn't see that Bergmann was comming of the D/L and was on a pitch count. Atlanta scored three runs after he left the game.

I lost on Nats, but had sizable UNDER plays to balance it out. Never in question.

McCann's 3-run shot was the difference.
