    Sorry wasn't around this weekend to post much... went away with the fam ....Lost my last play which was Thursday. Let's start a run here !!!! For Monday:

    971) BOSTON -132 at Seattle (Tavarez/Weaver) Double Unit

    -Tavarez 5-4 overall, 4.50 ERA ... 2-0 L3 with a 2.25 ERA. Red Sox are 6-1 in Tavarez's L7 starts, 4-1 his last 5 on the road, and 5-0 his L5 as a fav....

    -Weaver 1-6 overall, 8.56 ERA 1.85 WHIP.... 1-0 L3 with a 1.89 ERA ...W vs Pitt, No decisions vs SD, Chi Cubs ... ALL NATIONAL LEAGUE ... Now look at his 6 starts against AL opponents this year: 0-6 14.32 ERA. Nuff Said.

                      Fenway. Your record speaks for itself and is why I follow your plays. However, tonight I see something that you might have interperted differently from what I see. Everything you wrote is true, but I don't think Weaver has pitched well his last three starts because they were against the National League.

                      Where you write ALL NATIOINAL LEAGUE, after Weavers name, I replaced it with AFTER BEING ON DISABLED LIST. Weaver, pitching with right shoulder tendinitis, struggled all season, compiling an 0-6 record with a 14.32 ERA. After a month on the D/L, the inactivity gave his shoulder a chance to heal and I think being healthly again was the reason he pitched so well the past three games and it is just a coincidence these games were against the National League.

                          Thanks sandman ... that was something I had forgotten ... I guess I was trying to make a case for the AL being a much better-hitting league .... GL tonight
