Take Boris Said and Ron Fellows. Flip a coin and use one of them. Robby Gordon is a good pick but you can use him at every track. Boris Said and Ron Fellows are "Road Course" Specialists and you may only see them one more time at the other road course. Save Robby Gordon. You have a nice lead and this would be your smartest move (imo).

Robby Gordon is a great pick ... won here in '03 and had a top 5 in '01 ... and was also 3rd fastest in the final practice.... Boris Said is another to look out for ... he like Robby is a great road-course driver and has spent the most time in the Car Of Tomorrow in Sonoma testing .... I think Stewart will be real strong today too ... and I havn't used him in our league either but I think I will save Stewart ....leaning towards Robby Gordon also....

I posted this stat in another thread this week: Jeff Gordon came from 11th last year at Infineon to win ... it is the farthest back anyone has been since Davey Allison won in 1991 from 13th .... so the numbers state to take someone who qualified in the top 10 ..... hope this helps rocko !!! Why would you want to save Robby Gordon anymore?? There is only 1 more road course left and thats it.. IMHO Robby is better at this one then the other one and his previous records proves that.. Yes I know Said and Fellows are road course speaclists, but how many wins have they had against the BIG BOYS?? 0... IMO take Robby here and flip a coin with the other 2 at the Glen since you have already used Jeff and Tony.. GL on whatever you do

                  Rocko .......

I don't know how you can leave Ron Fellows out of this conversation either.

2 Years ago he started dead last (43rd) and finished 8th in the #32 Tide car. Last year, the car he is driving today (#96) was driven by Terry Labonte. Labonte started in 37th in this car and drove it to a 3rd place finish. Take the combination of Ron Fellows and the #96 car started 11th and i think you have a "Nice" Survivor pick there!

Because in weeks 30-36 when Said and Fellows are not racing and not options, Robby Gordon will be. You will be very thin on drivers at that point and Robby may not be a bad option. Unless you have played this game, you wouldn't "Get it" i guess.

You don't need to "WIN" in Nascar survivor TMAC. You are missing the point. All you need is a solid finish. He should take Said or Fellows HERE and the other one at Watkins Glen. THEN he could still use Robby at a later track.

...that's a good point Wayne ... I was to the top of NASCAR Survivor last year with like 8 races to go ... but had used every good driver up and was settling for shit-bumbs and ended up finishing out of the money .... so it is a pool of strategy ... and Robby Gordon isnt JUST a good road-course driver .... so It does make sense ... Robby Gordon is a very good road racer but always seems to get into some controversy at these road course races whether it be due to fuel mileage or due to his aggressive style of driving or somebody elses mishaps.....me personally am steering clear of him and going with the other 2 road course specialists at longer odds...Boris Said +900 and Ron Fellows +1400....In my opinion both of these guys are a bit easier on their equipment without giving up their aggressive styles....these picks are to win only...good luck
