One early play, and it's two anemic ass teams, both from Chicago, the Visiting Cubs, and the Home W Sox.....

Lets look at a few things here....
Overall, Cubs win 45% of their games, Sox 43 %.....no edge

Cubs on Road, 17-19, Sox Home 15-18....edge Cubs

Cubs BA vs lefties 240, Sox vs Righties 243.....no edge...

Cubs score 3.1 RPG vs Lefties, Sox 4.0 vs Righties....edge Sox

Pitchers Stats
Cubs, Zambrano---4.5 ERA, 1.4 Whip
Sox, Buehrle-------3.5, ERA, 1.1 Whip..........edge Sox

Both teams are cold, thus no edge for who's hot, and who's not.......
Both Pitchers Hot..no edge

Here's the Kicker.........
Cubs Bull Pen 4.1 ERA, whip 1.3
Sox BP,.TERRIBLE 5.9 ERA, whip 1.7.................Big edge CUBS
Sox BP gives up a whopping 66 % more runs than Cubs..

Zambrano usually goes 6.5 innings, has gone 7.9 avg on Last 3
Buehrle usually goes 6.6, and has averaged 7.3 on Last 3...

I foresee a defensive struggle for 7 innings, then BP's set in, and the game will be decided in the last 2 innings, or maybe extra innings..........Advantage CUBS........

Now looking at the anemic/pissport batting averages, and the fantastic stats on the Starting Pitchers, one would think the Total would be around, 8-8 1/2 or even less.....The odds makers have declared it at 8.5 under, rightfully so, and it has risen to 9.......I'm laying off the total here. but am playing

One thing to think about here is the way WSox's manager has been mouthing off to his players. I am not sure if this will fire them up or made them give up on him?
