  • What do people think about tonights NYY/SF game?

For some reason I love the Yanks tonight to win big. I know Igawa is shitty and hasnt pitch since may 4th but I see the Yanks bouncing back big tonight after getting swept by the Rockies. Cain has been decent but nothing spectacular. Just wondering everyone's thoughts/opinions on this one....

Even though Igawa may suck...the Giants suck even more...their offense is so terrible that they wont even be able to get that many hits off this dude....SF has lost 7 straight now....they blow way more than the Yanks have been....

Yes, but I think Cain is the best 2-7 pitcher out there if that makes any sense. Igawa may be a good medicine for the anemic Giants offense. I can see Cain only giving up 2-3 runs and the Giants getting 5-6 off Igawa.

As a Giants fan, I see the Yankees winning but barely. Cain has great stuff but zero run support...he pitched a four hitter against the Red Sox only to lose 1-0. His ERA in the last three games is 2.21 (3.15 overall). He should be 7-2 instead of 2-7 if the Giants could score. Also, PacBell is a pitchers park. Good Luck..

Randy Winn seems to be the only player who has hit consistently over .300 vs. lefties this season....

This isn't even a decent lefty we're talking about here though. Igawa is terrible.

Giants don't win when Cain pitches, but he's been pitching well. The line is a joke....pass
