7514th Place. I am seeing why though. I didn't start till three week ago. You could have set your line-up and let it stand, and then the salary escalation each week wouldn't impact you. So for example the guy who won had:

Gordon
Hamlin
Truex
Junior
Newman

We couldn't have picked that because it would have put us $200K over the budget, but he picked that team week one and hasn't changed it, so he gets to keep it for every race. There is this weeks race, and then a "second season" starting the next, so I assume there will be some changes in salary and other rules to even the playing field for people just getting in.

I know, it sucks. We would be at $1,264,556. This week we will probably have no chance, I just hope they reset the rules at the half after the first half payouts.

Then I can use one of the following for the last spot:

Mayfield's team is horrible. I don't see them making this race, much less getting a good finish. Mike Wallace is a great restrictor plate racer. Nice and cheap and if he doesn't get caught up in a crash or have engine trouble, he can sneak up there and get a nice finish. How expensive is Mears?

Elliot Sadler should be good. I don't trust Ward's car here, although Morgan-McClure usually brings a good restrictor plate package. He had engine trouble last time they were at a plate track at Dega and that is the only thing that scares me.

Also, Ward hasn't finished on the lead lap in any races he's made this year. You will need to wait and see if he makes the race also before using him.
