Well at least we jumped 4,000 places. So my initial thoughts on this weeks NH race is the following drivers, feedback?

        Harvick
        Ky Busch
        Ku Busch
        Newman
R Gordon (I know, but he seems to do well here at has a low salary)

I like all those. I really like Truex a lot this weekend as well. Another low salary driver that posted I believe an 11th and a 9th in the two races here last year was J.J. Yeley. Might be something to look at. Also think Tony Stewart and Denny Hamlin will be tough this weekend as well.

Yeah Yeley and Stremme ran decent here last year. Biffle seems to run well here, but he has struggled this year, any value in him? Also J Burton does very well here, but his salary would hurt my picks.

I am pretty sure the core I want to use based on past performance and how they are running this year are Ku Busch, Ky Busch and Newman. Then it is do I put a high salary racer such as a Burton or Johnson who run well here with a lesser guy or do I try and do two mid level guys.

If you used those 3 core guys and added Truex, what's the most expensive driver you could afford after that?

If I go with these 4 (R Gordon is cheap at $146k)

                Ky Busch
                Ku Busch
                Newman

                R Gordon

Leaves me with $234k (which is a lot)

I can take Harvick, Bowyer, Truex, McMurray, Biffle, Yeley

If you insist on taking R Gord, you can't leave Harvick out of the mix. After that I would take Truex, Biffle, Bowyer, McMurray, and then Yeley.

I can fit into the salaries

                    Ky Busch
                    Truex
                    Ku Busch
                    Biffle

I think you have to try and fit Harvick in there somewhere.

Man, this salary stuff is tough.

Well to get Harvick in it hurts overall, and makes me have to remove my two Busch guys unless I put a poor driver in the 5th slot.

                        Option 1

                        Harvick
                        Truex
                        Newman
                        Biffle
                        Yeley

                        Option 2

                        Burton
                        Harvick
                        McMurray
                        Yeley
                        R Gordon

                        Option 3

                        Ky Busch
                        Truex
                        Newman
                        Biffle
                        Yeley

                        Option 4

                        Harvick
                        Ky Busch
                        Ku Busch
                        Yeley

And the last driver can be any of these (are any of these worth using any way????):

                        Mears, Casey 168,125
                        Montoya, Juan Pablo 168,125
                        Waltrip, Michael 167,500
                        Vickers, Brian 153,611
                        Kahne, Kasey 150,156
                        Stremme, David 150,156
                        Nemechek, Joe 147,666
                        Gordon, Robby 146,093
                        Ragan, David 145,468
                        Raines, Tony 144,833
                        Menard, Paul 144,000
                        Sorenson, Reed 140,781
                        Marlin, Sterling 139,375
                        Smith, Regan 138,750
                        Rudd, Ricky 136,562
                        Petty, Kyle 134,285
                        Gilliland, David 131,718
                        Green, Jeff 128,125
                        Bliss, Mike 128,125
                        Sauter, Johnny 126,166
                        Riggs, Scott 125,714
                        Elliott, Bill 125,000
                        Blaney, Dave 107,500
                        Andretti, John 103,750
                        Wallace, Mike 100,000

Reed Sorenson almost won here last year, but ran out of fuel. Casey Mears could be worth a shot also.

Option 1 looks pretty good to me also, but I know you want a little Busch in there

Well I look at it this way, you need to really pick the winner and 2nd pace driver, then your next 3 have to finish between 3rd and 8th to win this thing. So think of it that way, very tough. So picking from those low salary drivers is tough. So your fourth and fifth driver on your team must be able to finish in the top 8.

                              Winner last week had:

                              Montoya
                              Harvick
                              Stewart
                              Boyer
                              Biffle

All that being said what will the top 8 for this race look like, then try and fit the salaries????

                                Damn, top 8 huh?

                                Harvick
                                Truex
                                Newman
                                Kyle Busch
                                Burton
                                Stewart
                                Johnson
                                Hamlin

Definitely way too high of salaries to fit 5 in there together I would think.
