I lost Friday night on a dog play on Arizona. This is the first game I've liked since then.

    1* A's +157
The American League is now a staggering 51-33 in interleague play. For that reason, a big American League dog is worth considering. In this case, Oswalt may be the most overvalued pitcher in baseball. I won with a big dog going against him last week and am firing right back. Houston is only 6-8 in his starts and a flat $100 bet on him every game produces an astounding -654 loss. His stats are only fair but his team is awful with a very messed up bullpen. Oakland is on fire. They've won eight of nine (against better teams than the miserable Astros). Amazing stat: The A's have given up only six runs their last six games and just 12 runs in their last 9!! Kennedy is pitching fine and the value here is on the A's.

    Opinion only:
    Padres
