chado its all good with getting my e-mail address, im fine with that bro. thanks for everyone's kind words. The first biggest problem with a person that gambles is to realize they have a problem. I am such a strong person that I don't need to go to GA, or any program because I can do it, I just need to do it. There's been so many times im just like, oh whatever, i'll just play a couple more games etc, I just need to not do it. Chado, I do see what the guy is saying that posted about atlantic city too... its true, with gambling with a local, its almost like you have an unlimited budget and you only need to pay the 3 units if you lose, otherswise you get 3 units. Casinos are different and I nEVER ever bring debit or credit cards or any form of getting more money to Casinos because thats just #1 wrong. I like the occasional casino trip for a couple of hundred dollars because its up front ya know. It gets to a point you never think of losing until you actually lose. You always wanna win and you always wanna dip into games every day and thats what I have to stop. I have to stop wanting to gamble on every game. I have to do this for myself, and my family and all and all my life. I can't live life like this anymore and expect to be happy because when you WIN, you're happy and loving and when you lose, your grumpy and mopey and feel worthless. Thats not fair to my fiance or my family or truly, myself. I deserve better. I thank you all for your kind words of encouragement and im sure I'll be back, but not anytime soon, im going to enjoy my life without gambling and enjoy my job and enjoy my fiance who brings me so much joy in my life. Thanks guys!

i know the feeling , baseball is a bitch ! sometimes its just better to take a break. besides cfb is where the $$$$ are at !

i've been posting / gambling for over 4 years straight everyday , till this year . have not made a real bet since the gators won the finals.....i say this, its tuff at times!(not to wager )
but since my mortgage went up do to taxes /insurance& my wife quit her job , had to put life into perspective. rule #1 dont bet $$$ you cant afford to lose !

anyways , bol whatever you decide!i know its hard,so do the best for yourself !

CML,i know exactly where you are coming from and your right its not worth losing people and things that mean the most to you.ive been doing this for over 30 years and since ive retired from betting on sports ive found a new life and one that im comfortable with.i now have time for other things and spending valueable time with my family and not worrying about what time it is to get a bet in and just giving all my attention to what i wanted to do,well it was about time i gave back to the people that put up with me while i was only concerned about my gambling and no one else.i now feel free and i can sleep at nite and wake up and watch sportscenter and watch it for the love of the sport and not weather i won or lost the nite before.

i respect what you are doing and i wish you all the best,but let me tell you im am so glad i did what i did and quit sports gambling cause its given me a new and happy life and theres nothing like having your freedom over an addiction.

AMEN bud. thanks a lot really to everyone for the kind comments! There's many people I know that wont admit the have a problem and wont admit that they need to stop and keep going and I see all negative things come to them and thats not what I want. I have it great right now and there's no reason to mess everything up. Cant wait like you said to watch Sports Center and actual care what the announcers say not because I had a few hundred bucks on it but because i love the game

Explain how its rude? I call it responsible. The guy has a gambling problem and doesn't want it to interfere with his fiancée. Plus other problems it can cause.
