Not a bad start for Rocket. His pitch count was a little high though. A 4.50 ERA for his first start with 7 k's in 6 innings.

Now don't you get and get harsh with these un biased people....They (T MAC/SoonerBud) have without predujice praised the Yankees and the "Saviour" Clemens, fairly....

You have the Gall to say it's just the Pirates

I'll have you know you little Prick, that the Pirates are in 4th place (7 1/2 g out) in the Powerful ass NL Central division, only behind the following Powerhouses....

Brewers winning percentage 54 % #1 in NL Central
              Cubs................................45 % #2..................
              Cards...............................44 % #3..................

Pirates with a magnificent....42 % #4, with a batting average of 250, and average scoring a whopping 4.1 Runs per game...

Now you take that whopping offensive threat at 4.1 RPG, and divide by 9 innings, you get
              0.455 runs per inning.....

Multiply that by 6 innings, and you get 2.73 runs per 6 innings, and now realize
Clemens gave up 3 runs in 6 innings, or
              .500 runs per inning....

Wait, that canb't be right....My math must be wrong....

Clemens, couldn't have given up more runs than the Powerful Pirates were averaging......

This has got to be wrong.....Now TwoTonTony, you know, and I know, he's the greatest, these stats are wrong, cause it's the Biased Opinions Above that count.....

Now TwoTon, you be nice and back off, , in this thread, it's only biased/emphaticly stated one sided opinions that count ...no stats allowed.....he's the 3rd best pitcher of all times....No stats, just opinions...

And when he meets and faces the Indians, Tigers, Angels, Blue Jays, D'Rays, et al, you know he's gonna shut em down...even though they bat a little better than 250....Behave yourself TwoTon, and quit coming in here, unless you are also hanging on to Clemens" Sac....
