its not malhomes fault the defense is horrid. bay has a worse arm than Damon and that error by wilson was bad, he should have charged that ball. pirates just suck. what else can you expect.

They are a winning team with Snell and Gorzelanny on the mound. I don't think Pittsburgh sucks nearly as much as the other 3 starters do and this is one of them. Snell and Gorzelanny always keep them in it.

The teams with the best 3-5 pitchers will always compete for the division. Boston, Detroit are 2 good ones right now. Teams like Pittsburgh are so weak 3-5 that they will always have trouble winning 50% of their games when 60% of their starters are horrible (IMO).
