It's tough to cap a rookie's first game pitching. Lincecum gave up 5 in 4.1 innings his first start. Phil Hughes gave up 4 in 4.1 innings. But Kevin Slowey only gave up 1 run in 6 innings his first start and Jesse Litsch only gave up 1 in 8.2 innings. That said, I think Bailey struggles tonight. His peripherals haven't been outstanding in AAA this year and Cleveland is a tough opponent in your first major league start.

I am betting Cleveland;if I lose, more power to an untested rookie who can stop the powerful Indians lineup.
I don't like to chase, but if lose, I will bet Cleveland for even more tomorrow;I would be shocked if the shitty Reds beat Cleveland two in a row.

          Bailey did quite well.....

          5IP, ERA 3.60, 5H, 2R's, 4BB's, 3K's, 114 Pitches/63 strikes

I was wrong on this one.....I also figured that after 6 innings, the BP would give up runs, but didn't....

          REDS---BP collective ERA,s, 4.0, 4.6, 5.0, 9.6, 4 different pitchers, yet managed to give up just 1 R, 4H, 0 BB's, 2K's to a strong hitting team, that left their bats at home today.....

I stand corrected on this one, and lost my POD....good job by Bailey.....kapt
