  • why does it always happen?

you bet on a team to win the ball game. the team you want to win goes up by at least 2 runs and hope they can hold onto it so you win your money.. and they blow it against an underdog, or... you take the favorite and the underdog is winning 3-0 and you cant seem to score any runs off a pitcher that has gotten crushed in his career by that same team. In case your wondering, the Astros royally handed me my ass today as they blew a 6-4 lead in the 9th and the Cardinals cant seem to score and runs off Kyle Lohse. Tell me how it all makes sense and why the team that you want thats losing, which wasnt the Rockies but its the Cardinals, how come you just know they arent going to win the game now? Why does that always happen?

    ridiculous.

i know what you mean dude. its like the team you need to stay good, or to come back never seems to do it, but the opposite will happen to you like a ridiculous amount of times in a row

When that happens I usually TRY to take a day off and regroup--or bet real small because I am so sick from the night before. I am sure you will be all right and things will come back around. We all tend to forget the ones we won---the ones we SHOULDN'T have won.!! I try not to dwell on the losses and just move on...GL CML!!

Aint that the truth....CML I bet there have been games that you shouldn't have won but ended up getting lucky and win.....it happens both ways...trust me....we just tend to forgot about those lucky ones and dwell and the brutal implosions.....
