Won yesterday on the Cards & Athletics, have one afternoon play to follow while at work:
Athletics +134 - Oakland has played well on this current 10 game homestand going 7-2. The starters are 6-1 with a 1.30 era during this homestand. Schilling has not pitched well lately going 1-1 with a 4.91 era last 5 starts with opponents batting .349. Blanton has had only 1 bad outing this year out of 12 starts. Blanton is 2-0 with a 3.10 era lifetime vs Boston. Oakland has won 5 straight games and are going for the sweep while Boston has lost 6 of their last 7 games. Also, Oakland has won 8 of their last 9 games vs Boston.
