Bad bad decision yesterday with the Royals. The D-Rays pounded the ball and could have won by more. In all actuality it should have only been 2-2 which could have made the rest of the game different. Either way a loss is a loss. Onto today.

San Diego - Young -128 I look for Schmidt to be a little shaky coming back from his injury. This is a fight for the NL West lead and Young gives the Pads a solid performance tonight while Schmidt struggles for a start or two.

Atlanta / Florida Over 9 Got this at 9 this morning and see it up to 9.5 in some places. I am a Braves fan and can not even tell you who this guy pitching is. Looking back to some stats, he started once against Florida back in 1999 so there is no point looking at that for help. Carlyle does sport a hefty 11.25 ERA this year and a WHIP of 2.00. Mitre has been solid his last few starts, but has yet to start in Atlanta. He gives up the hits but manages to escape with few runs scored. I look for some backups to be in for both teams in the first game as Smoltz pitches the second game for Atlanta tonight. For sure McCann will catch tonight and not this afternoon. This could mean a little less offense, but I think the guys who get that chance to play today will not screw that opportunity up.
Parlay
Florida (Mitre) / Atlanta (Smoltz) 3 units to win 5.05 units No way that Florida sweeps the series. Smoltz will salvage one win out of the three games tonight.

Atlanta (Smoltz) / Toronto (Halladay) Dont like risking everything on one team, but Atlanta with Smoltz is something I like very much tonight. Halladay will take care of business at home tonight.
