Thanks for the info Rocko----I can't give you any stats, but by memory, when they show an 11 or higher, it generally goes OVER....IMO....by memory only.....

I've seen many a games with pitchers ERA at 3.65, and 4.56 facing teams batting 254 and 256, and they declared the game as an OVER/UNDER 11.........Makes me wonder why so high.....Seems like they know something....

Also seen pitchers ERA 7.78 and 9.54, teams hitting 283 and 278 and they show the OVER Under at 8 1/2.....Seems like the Oddsmakers tell you which way to go.....

I personaly use the total of 9 as my "K" factor, then work my way from there.....In essence, I feel the games should avg at least 9 per game, on a daily basis....IMO

Don't make me go Cajun on your Ass!

I'd love it if someone had stats on this on a season basis.

Back in the "day," when books weren't as sharp (before internet gambling, etc.), the rule of thumb was to bet high totals OVER and low totals UNDER because the books were always afraid of setting numbers at extremes. It does seem like there are very few games over 11 1/2 in bases (except in Colorado) and only a tiny number under 7. Keep tracking this, Rocko---it may be interesting.
