I will first start with my plays for Saturday.
NBA

My thoughts on Lebron and the NBA (Keep in mind that I have been hyping D Wade since his days at Marquette):
When Lebron was drafted, D Wade was also drafted that same year. D Wade has made the playoffs every year (even without Shaq) and Lebron has not. D Wade has a ring, Lebron does not. Enough about Lebron vs. D Wade.
As for the NBA, I have always been an avid fan who watched nightly. I have lost my interest in the playoffs after a few things this year.
It was topped off last game when Lebron drove the lane, spun around (with Billups on him), threw a left handed hook shot that hit the backboard and they called a foul. The replay cleary showed it was not a foul and Steve Kerr even said the same thing. The refs dominate the game too much in the NBA.
- Amare and Boris get suspended a game for leaving the bench but not causing any trouble.
- Does anyone ever commit a foul? Rasheed should sign a contract with a tissue company.
- Does anyone ever miss a shot and not claim they got fouled? See Rasheed above.
- The NBA should watch a college game and adapt the travel call as well as the 5 second rule. Imagine if a player would have to pass and cut??
That is my vent for the weekend, enjoy the games and good luck today.
