Haven't posted in 2 days cause a lot going on. Posting early today cause I have to coach all day.
Have to let you guys know. Went to the Kenny Chesney concert Thursday night and it was great. My daughter informed me that I am going to be a GRANDDAD. I can't believe it !! I was so happy I cried right there. Unbelievable when you first find out. Now I know how some of you "OLD guys feel !! LOL. I can't wait !! She's due Jan. 17.

Anyway to my Sat plays. Been on a mini run and hope to keep it going today.

Dave---gl to ya today, and especially with the birth of the Grand Kid.....you are correct Sir, us Old Men know whats its like to have GrandKids......

No better feeling in the world....If you're like me, when my kids (6 sons) were growing up, I was too busy trying to provide for em, I missed some quality time with em....

You get a second chance with GrandKids, and somehow, someway, you'll see so many things in the GrandKid, that remind you of things your Daughter did or didn't do as a child....

It's a whole new life for you Dave, enjoy em, and always try to be there for em, as a GrandPa, and watch their little eyes when Momma says you're gonna spend the day with GrandPa......

You can enjoy em, teach em, be their pal, discipline em, spoil em, without all the needed discilinary traits of being a Parent involved, and then say, all right, it's time for you to go back to your Momma....

All my GrandKids caught their first fish (3 of em), with their GrandPa.........Wonderful feeling, it was the same way with my Kids......Just the other day, my 9 year old GrandSon, out of the clear blue sky, said to me, "You know PawPaw, I like being around you, you teach me things".....PRICELESS.....

Congrats, and hope all is well when the time comes.....My first Born Son (Shane), was born on Jan 21st........40 years ago, and I remember it like it was yesterday......Same thing goes with the Births of the Grand Kids.....

Best to ya my man, and if it's a lil boy, try and keep him away from Sheep and Goats....ha ha....kapt

damn, thought I went 1-2 cause a friend of mine told me Boston lost. Just checked my account and saw they won.
I've been away from scores all day at the ball park and thought they lost.
2-1 day afterall and with Kaptain's banger actually won for the day !!!
