Yup! If you win on one and push on the other it counts as a single play on the winner!

          Yup!
Mind you the hottest capper of units earned is on the Yanks today- Bill Mill has a string of 5 going. I am on the opposite for 5 innings and now wish to change my parlay and let go of the ginst da Tanks play -I mean Yanks play!

          7Oakland (5 innings)
          Seattle Under 7.5

          Erik Bedard (4-3, 3.67 ERA)

Bedard got his season back on track with a win against the Royals last Wednesday, his first win since April 18. In that start, he threw eight scoreless innings, permitting just four singles and finally got a semblance of run support from the Orioles offense in the 3-0 win.

In his first five May starts before that win, Bedard pitched extremely well, allowing just eight earned runs and 21 hits in 34 innings, but was 0-for-1 with four no-decisions in that span. That was the second longest winless streak of his career and all of those results were decided by just two runs or less.

Bedard has struck out an American League leading 88 batters, walking 28 in 76 innings.

          Felix Hernandez (3-3, 4.10 ERA)

In his last start, Felix Hernandez gave up seven runs and nine hits to the Los Angeles Angels in seven innings, surrendering his first three homers of the season. He allowed Orlando Cabrera and Vladimir Guerrero to go a combined 6-for-6, scoring four runs and driving in three.

It was his third loss of the season, inflating his ERA to 4.10, but it was only the third time in his career that he gave up three or more home runs in a game. Before the Anaheim game, Hernandez's numbers were impressive - in his previous six outings, he hadn't allowed more than three earned runs in a start (2.87 ERA) with 37 strikeouts in 31.1 innings pitched.

Seattle manager Mike Hargrove defended Hernandez after the Angels loss saying he simply needed to keep his pitches down. "In the innings Felix got hit, everything was up," Hargrove said. "When he was down, he was good, and that was the difference."

Hernandez has yet to lose two starts in a row this season.

Not feeling confident with this parlay today either. If the parlay is going to be a no nonsense parlay then it should have little chance of losing. There are cracks here!

I played it but I am taking it off the board.
            I have

            KC/TB Under

also as my only play today.
I like Oakland but feel rehab may be in store for Hernandez and he may come out early if he tries to reach for something that is missing in his delivery.

Under is 6-0 in Shields' last 6 starts vs. a team with a losing record.
Over is 4-0-1 in Shields' last 5 starts after scoring 5 runs or more in their previous game.
Under is 4-0 in Shields' last 4 home starts vs. a team with a losing record.
Under is 4-1 in Shields' last 5 starts overall.
Under is 9-3 in Shields' last 12 starts with 4 days of rest.
Under is 5-2 in the last 7 meetings in Tampa Bay.
Under is 7-3 in the last 10 meetings.

Under is 7-0-2 in Rapuano's last 9 games behind home plate vs. Kansas City.

Under is 5-1 in Meche's last 6 starts with the total set at 7.0-8.5.
Under is 4-1 in Meche's last 5 starts as an underdog.
Under is 5-2 in Meche's last 7 starts after allowing 5 runs or more in their previous game.
Under is 5-2 in Meche's last 7 starts following a team loss in their previous game.

Should not be so squeamish- Parlay I was initially on won.
OK New Business 4-2 on these Parlays!

Baseball - 959 Cincinnati Reds -112 for Game
                        Baseball - 963 San Francisco Giants/Arizona Diamondbacks Under 8 -125

Harang has pitched well against the Cards and I believe the hitting will follow him into another victory. Wellemyer is a fair pitcher and his wins have come against Pitt, Pitt, Washington, and Colorado in his last 4 games. I would love to get on the bandwagon but Harang has had 1 poor outing and when I look at the number of innings pitched this game is not close.
                        Cinncy winns big tonight.
Now on to Arizona- Johnson looks like his old self but he has had problems with SF in the past- no domination of the Giants recently. Cain looks like he is ready to do battle. I look for an edge and see the Under as a play- not as strong as Cinncy mind you but a solid play!

                        Good Luck tonight!
