I had another winning night last night, going 2-1 (all on dogs) including my fourth straight win going against the Yankees who continue to be overbet beyond belief.

In case you haven't noticed, the Cubs aren't playing well. You have to look at going against them any time they are favored. In this instance, there is a huge pitching mismatch that favors the dog. While the Cubs' Lilly started strong, he was shelled in his last outing. On the other hand, Florida's Mitre has become the best pitcher on the staff (who would have thought that?). He's given UP TWO OR FEWER RUNS IN EACH OF HIS LAST FIVE STARTS. His ERA over that five game stretch is 1.25. The Marlins should be favored here based on the big pitching edge.

Without meaning to offend anyone, anybody still betting on the Yankees needs to stop gambling. You are being forced to lay a lot of huge numbers on a team that loses most of its games. They are now EIGHT games under .500 and have lost five in a row. Yet, they are still an enormous road favorite tonight. That is insane. The pitching matchup, with two young pitchers, seems even. I've won four in a row going against the Yankees---each at a big number---and I'm certainly not getting off this money train now.
