Yanks have not been buried like this in many, many years.
With the exception of a few like Jeter, Posada and a few othes, etc., it is within the realm of possibility that with the big fat salaries and contracts that practically all of these guys get, they may lose interest and be lucky to finish at even 500 for the season.
It would be great for baseball to see the Yanks out of playoffs for a change and back with the pack(and of course for the Sox to win another WS. ).
