38 of the 90 Indianapolis 500 winners have come from the front row (Top 3 starting positions). It just happens that the 3 guys i like are in there today. I like Kanaan to win but i'm also playing a teammate of his and i feel i have to put the pole winner in there as well for the reasons stated below.

The winner of the pole has also been the race winner more often than not (18) with 2nd best way behind (11 wins from the 2 hole). Helio Castroneves is on the pole. He is a past winner and he also drives the #3 car. The number 3 car is the only numbered car that has won double digit races in the Indy 500 (10) ... 2nd best here is the #2 car with 8 wins. Tomas Scheckter is driving that today.
