A Spears Sighting! I have so many touts on Utah tonight- its scary! Over 90 % are on Utah! No real movement- Scary!!

San Antonio lost both of its games this season at EnergySolutions Arena, falling 83-75 on Nov. 29 and 97-93 on Jan. 31. The Jazz went 31-10 at home during the season, and they are 6-0 in the playoffs. They are counting on the return to Utah - plus some lessons learned during their two wins over San Antonio - to help them look like a team worthy of reaching the conference finals. Derek Fisher believes the tempo in Games 1 and 2 of the playoff series favored the Spurs.

In Game 3, the Jazz hope to slow the pace, improve their execution and tighten their defense on Spurs' All-Stars Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili. "Not necessarily by design, but the [regular season] games were lower scoring, more halfcourt-type of games," Fisher said. "They were more of a playoff type of tempo. . . . We did a better job defending, our energy was up and we were more active, which made it more difficult for them to score. "At some point there has to be more of a defensive effort, especially on our part," Michael Finley said. "We've been fortunate these last two games to not put out a tremendous defensive performance, but get away with it because we were clicking offensively. "Even though we are turning the ball over quite a few times more than usual, most of the time we are making good decisions, trying to find the open teammate," Manu Ginobili said. "But sometimes you are going to miss those shots. We can't rely on making 13 (3-pointers) a game." As a result, the Spurs hope to improve their defense. Though Utah hasn't shot particularly well (41.9 percent in Game 1; 43.9 percent in Game2), Deron Williams and Carlos Boozer have gotten away from the Spurs at times, combining to score 101 points in the past six quarters. The Spurs have played six best-of-7 series in which they won the first two games at home in the past five seasons. In all but one of them, they lost the next two games on the road and returned home with the series tied, 2-2. San Antonio also benefits from the three-day break after playing six games in 11 days. The Spurs have covered 29 of 43 after at least two days off. San Antonio has cashed at a 9-2-1 clip in its last dozen playoff tests (3-1-1 on the road).

Utah is 6-0-1 against the spread at home in the postseason. However, they have failed to cash 26 of 39 at home following a road loss. The Spurs are 18-30 ATS after four or more straight wins. The Jazz own a 6-0 straight up and 5-0-1 against the spread record in the playoffs at home. The team has outscored opponents by an average of 11 points per game (102-91) during this stretch en route to the perfect ledger at EnergySolutions Arena. San Antonio has gone under in 36 of 55 when the total was between 190 and 199 ½ and the Jazz have gone under in 20 of 27 when trailing in a playoff series. well i see the home crowd helping the Jazz tremendously tonight & it's time to put the clamps on.

    Spurs/Jazz under 93' 1st half (Spear- I got 94 1/2 -130) This has continued to drop!
    Jazz -1 1st half
