Notes:
- I think one of the problems with Wise Men Baseball over the years has been that there are so many plays, and with some/most of you guys are playing on line, you need lots of credit in the accounts.
Unfortunately there is very little we can do to remedy that ... we just report them to you as we see them.
- Also , sometimes teams + 1 1/2 Runs in the morning shift and become - 1 1/2 Runs later on in the day . This makes record keeping very tedious and impractical.
- Kaptain and Cheech are right ... just throw the games out there and you guys will do what's best for you.
- Someone asked a question yesterday about Wise Men abandoning our hard and fast rule with teams greater than -140 ... I would say yes we have ... last year most of our 5 figure profit was earned with a scary red hot Interleague season and also high line parlays.
We do , however , remain adamant about 1 thing ...
WE NEVER LAY -1 1/2 RUNS WITH A HOME TEAM ... Think hard about this and you'll soon discover that it's a losing proposition.
Wednesday's Plays:
Top Play
3* ........ Pittsburgh on ML ... Even Money
The Rest:
2 1/2* .. San Diego ... only if you can take 1 1/2 Runs ... otherwise make SD a 1* on Money Line at -125
3 Team Run Line Parlay: ( Each of these 3 teams are of 2* strength )
Milwaukee + 1 1/2 Runs -190
Boston + 1 1/2 Runs -180
Oakland + 1 1/2 Runs -175
Single Run Line Play(s):
1* Minnesota + 1 1/2 Runs -180
1* Detroit only if they become + 1 1/2 Runs ... otherwise no play at all with them.
Best of Luck
