My last play was a big dog winner on the Indians Thursday.

I play mostly dogs and my ideal situation is when the better team is getting a big line with at least equal pitching. Tonight, the best team in baseball is a rather large dog against a team that is FOUR GAMES UNDER .500! That might be a play even if the dog was facing Cy Young. Instead, the Red Sox are facing Wang who is a solid paitcher but has a 2-3 record and the Yankees have a cumulative -424 ROI in his starts. Wakefield had one bad outing. So what? He's pitched great in most of his starts and had two seven inning shutouts in a row before his last outing. Most importantly, Boston has won four of five, seven of nine and 11 of 14. The Yankees? They just keep losing. Take the dog.
PS: Boston is 30-13. The Yankees are 19-23. OK, I'm done.
