guys i am old school and not stupid-i know exactly what i did wrong- i let that money burn a hole in my pocket-just would like to hear from you guys that i am not the only one that acts the fool sometimes // to help reinforce in my numbskull head how stupid i gambled // so maybe it will be a long time before i do it again-would sincerely like some feedback here-thanks-from the heart ironchung !!

we all at one time or other suffer, or have suffered from disciplinary problems regarding wagering......I know I have....you just have to stay determined, and stay with what's good to you at the time.....Right now, it's the NBA....

If you would be hot in AFL and the Ponies, odds are, you're not in the NBA, and vice versa.....Sometimes you feel like what ever you touch turns to Gold, well, that may last a day or 2, in the long run, you give back, plus some, from what you've earned by being hot....

All along your NBA run, I was proud that you kept your wagers about the same, let the hot streak take its course, and benefit from it.....Those kind of runs are rare, enjoy em while you're on em, rat hole what you can, don't push, and don't EVER get to feeling, like you can bang, and have hot streaks in 3 sports at one time, especially the HORSES......

I repeat, stay with what makes you money, and what you're best and hot on.....allow for cold streaks, by not pushing, take the good with the bad, and then when you're on another one of those hot ass runs, you build er up even more.....

We've all done it, some are still doing it, I've burnt myself with that Idea of my picks being Mida's Gold, and learned the hard way.....Been gambling for almost 50 years, and I was into it, about 20 years, believe it or not, when I learned the TRUE meaning of DISCIPLINE in wagering.........

You're one of the best, use your talents wisely, and manage your discipline like you mean it.....I got the faith in ya.....kapt

SIMPLY PUT----NUT UP, tell yourself you can be disciplined, and do it now, for if you can't, you're in for some misery and $ wise downfalls in the future.....Is your mind not under your control, or are you gonna blame poor ass Marvin......It's all in your mind, use it, you know better, control yourself....USE that SHARP ass mind GOD gave ya......The balls in your court, there's not a damn thing I or anyone can do to help ya, you have to want discipline, practice discipline, before you can use discipline.....

L--Learn what you've suffered from Lack of discipline

E--end your misery and internal fighting now....initiate it---discipline

chungster , I guarantee you that if everyone here is honest, we've all done it before.
Like the Kapt. said, YOU must stay disciplined. YOU have got to stay with your money management. Its got to be YOUR decision and disciplined will to stay focused and don't chase and be smart when you are hot and when you are not.

Chung- I had a great 3 week run- Quadruple my account and ran into a downside that wiped away 1/2 of my earnings. I have stayed away from betting and would have gone heavy on Utah to cover. I am happy that I got away from it. I quit banging on the door based on my beliefs that would have eventually consumed me. I won overall and will come back at it again in awhile. You are agitated - I can tell - no different than my spry ass- lay off! Recharge and let your mind take a break from the casino. Your friend---Spear!!
