Looking at this I had the same thoughts...I for one like the Jazz in game one. S.A. no doubt had an emotional series and Utah is better rested. S.A. is the better team and UTAH needs to run run run and beat this D if this is going to happen. Utah came out against Houston and ran in the final game 7. I feel this is what they need to do to break S.A. JMO...

Who runs better than Phoenix? S.A. disposed of them in less than 7. I think the Spurs can play either game with Utah. The home team in this series was (4-0) this year with S.A. winning their 2 games by 32 points and Utah won their 2 by 12. The Spurs are also (5-2) SU & ATS in their last 7 against Utah. I like the Spurs in 6 myself. I probably won't play a series wager and i might be on Utah in single games with the points so GL TMAC!

Ok--let me clarify--if Utah sits back and carries the ball up the court they will be thrashed (SA will manipulate them). They need to open it up like Phoenix tried to do but in the end lost... If they play a defensive game they will not win(UTAH). I think they need to run run run... I wasn't implying anything but that. I think they need to pressure and turn up the volume and not sit back and wait for the Spurs to come to them. You may not see my point but in a low scoring game the Spurs will prevail.

I do hear 'ya but in their last 5 meetings with S.A. the 3 games won by a team scoring over 100 points were all won by S.A. by an average of 22 ppg. The 2 games that were won by the team scoring less than 100 were both won by Utah when they held S.A. to 93 & 75 points. I guess my point was that i disagreed and feel if Utah pushes the tempo, they are DONE!

I think a low scoring, clock draining game is actually the best way for Utah to pull out wins against S.A.

They have proven when they run and push it against the Spurs, they get smoked. When they slow it down, they don't.

SPURS know how to win...the best defense of team in the league. They play team ball and dont panic. Utah beat a Houston team with 2 players on it. The Spurs win this series in 5 games i think. I havent forgot how poorly the JAZZ [layed before the Housdton series and im really not sold on Houston 2 man team as a BIG win when it takes 7 games. Utah was better than Golden st and used its size on them inside. That wont be nearly as effective vs a SPURS team that loves games in the 80s and kept up with the SUNS running game quite effectively. SPURS are the fav to win it all and i think the FINALS will feature them vs DETROIT...but i hope LABRON gets there

Well then you have a leg up with stats than I have with my mouth. Very good points here Wayne. Thanks for the input and I will watch this very closely in this series. GL tonight!

I think if Utah gets an open chance to run they will and should do it but i think if that is their game plan, they are in big trouble. They are young and if they get running, they will lose their focus and legs on defense and they will quickly start finding themselves out of position to rebound on both ends against this Spurs team. The Spurs are a deeper team too and Utah will lose out if they have to use too much of that bench. I think if Sloan is smart he will slow it down with a structured offense and try to frustrate the Spurs on defense. If they don't and they try to run, that's when you will see S.A. scoop up rebounds and drop quick 12-2 runs on them. I don't think Utah wants to play that game being this young.

I Think The Spurs Prefer It Slow But Can Handle Anything Utah Have. They Are To Young To Beat The Spurs. But Stranger Things Have Happen. I Might Take Houston In The 1st Half In Game 3 When They Are Down 2-0
