First I must say sorry to those that played Ottawa last night because of me. I knew there was a reason that I stick to picking baseball games and following on everything else. Ottawa looked too easy last night and it was true. They outplayed Buffalo for a period and 4 minutes of another but that was not enough. The baseball side was eh with a little loss on the night. I was watching the Braves game on MLB.tv and knew Bobby Cox would leave Kyle Davies in the game and that he would give up that big hit. Just because the kid got a ground ball that should have gotten him out of the inning was no reason to give him another shot. I could see he was done and lord knows I know next to nothing about managing a baseball team. Yesterday is done now and that is the best thing that could happen. Onto today.

Milwaukee - Sheets -125 Ben Sheets has pitched excellently in Philadelphia the last 3 times he has been there. It was 2 and 3 years ago and the team has changed since then, but he has still fared very well in his trips there. Milwaukee has to win this game to stop the sweep possibility and who better to send to the mound than Sheets. Last 3 outings he has surrendered 7 runs in 18 innings. Garcia has given up 9 runs in 17 innings his last 3. Milwaukee blew the game two nights ago and was dominated last night. They should be happy to see Garcia who is no longer on the level that Cole Hamels is starting to ascend to.

Tampa Bay - Kazmir -145 Slugfest last night and it might very well continue tonight for one team. Kameron Low is very hittable. The ball park in Disney is very nice(I played there in a tournament 8 years ago). I look for the Rays to slug out another win tonight and back Kazmir with some runs. They did not blow their load last night as I guarantee they have some in reserve for today.
Anaheim - Colon +110 Colon has been red hot since coming back from the DL and I will try to ride that streak today. Washburn had two great outings vs the Yankees, but that did not sell me on him this year. The Angels should hit him enough to scratch out 3 or 4 runs and that bullpen will hopefully hold onto the lead.

Minnesota - Santana -130 Hard to say that I would only put 1 unit on Johan Santana at this price, but he has not been Johan Santana like we know him. He has proven to be human and hittable this year. Minnesota also has not given him any run support(seems to be the case with most teams when their ace pitches this year). Carmona on the other hand has been red hot and was a pick of mine as a +220 dog to beat Johan in Minnesota in April. That being said, Johan has to return to top form sometime this year and I will bet 1 unit at this low price that it is tonight. If not it sets up very well for a larger wager on him next time out.
Atlanta - James No Line There will be a line soon and once I get it I will post it. Cox and Davies combined on a loss last night. The Braves need to win to split the series with the bottom feeding Nats. Sad to say that having Smoltz and Hudson pitch the first two games I know. James will put forth a solid effort today and Atlanta fights to a 5-2 win.
