Playing with a local that uses a voicemail. Doesn't move lines. Question for the line readers on the board (***,etc). Would you open an online a try to middle. Not a ton of movement in foots, but baskets have room. Or would you play the "bad" lines he would be putting out? Or play the on an online account with the adjusted lines? I GUESS MY QUESTION WOULD BE HOW RELIABLE IS HE AND IF THERE IS ANY DOUBT I WOULD GET AN OFFLINE ACCOUNT.IF HE IS RELIABLE FIRE AWAY. AS FAR AS MIDDLES YOU WOULD FIND QUITE A FEW ESPECIALLY IN COLLEGE FOOTBALL AGAIN IT DEPENDS ON HOW RELIABLE HE IS. -
There a plenty of middles to be found using college football totals. I have a guy like who doesn't move the lines and have caught a few over the years. The biggest one I ever played was 6pts... of course it didn't hit.
As far as risk vs. reward... there isn't a better deal out there than finding middles.

Very reliable. Have been with for awhile. Great pay. But until I got to this board and saw the info, I never thought of middling, or even opening offshore. just played the bad lines. Rather streaky though. Thanks!!!Pre-ban 1-0 (+1.00)

It has a lot to do with when the line moved. Late moves in college football have been GOLD for a long time. I'm sure you start beating him with his line he will start moving them or cut you off. Pay NO attention to ½ point moves, watch for point or more, close to closing time.Comment

Question for you on this example. Local had Akron total at 58. Saw lines all over(DonB) at 60-61, but LAST move was to the under. Would you still play the over with the bad line, or back off b/c last move was down? Thanks for the help!Pre-ban 1-0 (+1.00)

I'd stay away, pay more attention to games/totals that are biger, not off the wall games. but the off the walls are the ones to watch, not the totals. not all books put up totals on those gamesComment
