Well thank you Oakland A's for screwing up a perfect day. That is all I have to say about yesterday. Onto today.
NHL GOY
Have not played the NHL since mid way through the season until now. Ottawa was my pick to win the East at +245. I put 2 units on them as I thought they had the best shot at taking out Buffalo. Now they have out played Buffalo in every game. They are the better defensive and right now offensive team. Ryan Miller has been getting blasted with shots and he is only human. If Ray Emery keeps getting 20 shots sent at him per game, the Senators will continue to dominate. To me, Buffalo is dead. Had they won one game at home this might be a different story.

Arizona - Webb -119 While Webb has not had the most success vs the Rockies, Cook has had even less vs Arizona at home. In his last two starts vs the Dbacks at home, Cook allowed 12 earned runs in 12 innings. If you give Brandon Webb 6 runs in this game, that will be more than enough. D'Backs pull out a win in this one, 5-3

Atlanta - Davies -140 No need for a writeup. Pitchers park, reliever starting for Washington. Bullpen comes in early for Washington and blows any shot they have at a win.
Toronto - Burnett -160 Going down for some reason. Baltimore lost the ability to hit during this series. Do not see the bats getting revived against AJ Burnett in this one. Jays pen has actually been good without Ryan so I can see them holding a lead better than that Baltimore pen right now. Jays get the sweep tonight.

Chicago - Hill +120 Yes I know a play on the Cubs two nights in a row. One was dangerous enough. Sosa has been solid in filling in for the Mets and the Cubs are the shakiest team out there. Last night gave them some confidence going into today as they take the series in a very close game tonight.
Cincinnatti(Arroyo) / San Diego(Peavy) Under 6.5 When you stare at an under this low, there is a reason for it. Cincy can not score for Bronson this year and San Diego does not scare you offensively. A great game last night and there should be another to follow tonight.
