Was offered Clemens and Nomar for Gary Sheffield is this a good trade or not.Its a roto league and offensive stats are about average my pitching needs help.Hate to trade Sheff when he finally starts heating up is it worth it

What SP would you be replacing with Clemens, what 1B with Nomar, and who would you stick in for Sheff. At face value, I think I'd do it if you can absorb the power loss.

sheff would be replaced by nomar and clemens would take the place of probably millwood

Assuming you think you can afford to lose a few HRs and RBIs, I think the upgrade over Millwood will be worth it.

Sheff will be lucky to play 125 games...and while Nomar is injury prone, Clemens will be a top 15 SP on a team w/ great run support. If you need pitching help, I'd do it.

Clemens is gonna struggle w/nyy. watch. the NL is the cup cake league. no hitting in the NL. + pitcher gets to bat.


clemens will have era around 4.00 and maybe 10 wins if he's lucky

I'd do the trade. Sheff is a cancer! If he isn't already, he will eventually cause clubhouse problems for you....upsetting the rest of your team!
