    What is the deal with Jim Boeheim?

    Anybody know? Just saw an item on the ESPN ticker that Andy Katz was reporting on the replacement for Boeheim. What did I miss?

    Knew he wasn't happy about snub last year, but this seems kind of out of the blue.

    Any info would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

    You can replace a coaching legend like Jim Boeheim, and now we know who will. Mike Hopkins, a longtime Syracuse assistant and former player, will be elevated whenever Boeheim retires, sources told ESPN.com.

      It sounds like a deal to keep Hopkins from going to another school to be a HC there.

      I wonder if he got this in writing, or if it's just a vague "commitment."
