Well all but one Monday has sucked for me, going to start playing very lightly or taking the day off from now on. At least the kid pitching for Washington earned that win and it was not some fluke effort. I would also like to re-iterate that Baltimore's bullpen sucks and Danys Baez is about as useful as I am after two should operations in 3 years. That being said, onto today.

Prop Baltimore - Cabrera -124 1st 5 innings. Their pen has an era of over 10 in the last 9 games. No way am I going to trust that they can hold onto a lead or keep the game a tie score. While Litsch has pitched well in the minors, it was only in AA ball. This call up should give him just a few butterflies in the stomach and for the first 5 innings I say Baltimore roughs him up just a tad.

Oakland - Kennedy -1.5 Even They could not score last night and who can blame them, Gil Meche has pitched brilliantly this year for KC. Brian Bannister is a different story. I just do not think this kid is ready. While Oakland does not have the most potent offense, they will bang out 8 or 9 hits tonight and score around 4 or 5 times. This should be enough to get the win.
Atlanta - Hudson -1.5 Even You can not take anything away from that kid last night who pitched brilliantly. He shut the Braves out in Atlanta over 6 or 7 last time out and I was too blind to think he could do it again. Hudson is pitching like he did in Oakland and that's what Atlanta needed from him. No reason he can not shut the Nats bats down and the offense does not pick up tonight.
