Baltimore - Bedard -130 Someone tell me why this line has continued to go down. Its not like Roy Halladay is on the mound for Toronto, I mean right now I might want him there the way he's throwing. Tomo Ohka is a bum. That's flat out the right thing to say about him. Now the Blue Jays have lost BJ Ryan awhile ago and I am not sold on the bullpen. Troy Glaus is doubtful for tonight and that is a big offensive loss for them. Bedard has given up 6 runs in his last 3 outings and if he can stick to that average tonight, the Orioles take this one easy.

Atlanta - Smoltz -1.5 +110 Atlanta seems to have found the hot hand with the bats again and we have Pittsburgh to thank for that. Hell I'm not complaining, im a Brave fan. Needless to say I bet against them yesterday and that's why this is not a biased pick. Willie Harris has provided a very nice spark around Andruw and Chipper. Smoltz has been very solid to start this year and no reason he can not continue this against the bottom feeders of the east. Washington comes fresh in off a sweep of the Marlins. The only thing holding this back a unit or maybe even two is that Bergmann pitched excellent in Atlanta earlier this year. Time to knock the Nats back into place and erase their 3 game win streak though.
