That is true as Childress' last championship came when Sr was still around. I think Childress would be thrilled to get another title from Jr.

I think at RCR he could be "The Man" on and off the track. I also think his connection to Richard Childress holds a TON of weight in his decision being as close to him as he is. Hendricks can't do anything to match that variable and i don't think Jr. will over ride his connection with Childress based on money. That in itself gives RCR a big advantage (imo).

At Hendricks he will be "The Man" off the track but he will clearly be "The (3rd) Man" on it. Another reason to go to RCR (IMO).

If he is true to his word and getting away from Sr's shadow, then RCR would be the last place he wants to go.

Personally....I'd LOVE to see him at RCR and keep that legacy going.

I also don't quite see him being the (3rd) man on the track IMO. Again, speaking only on money terms...the amount of money that can be generated with Dale Jr as a Nextel Cup Champ would be astronomical. I just can't vision him being third in the pecking order on the track.....I don't know....
