I understand Gibbs position on not wanting to associate with Budweiser....but from a financial standpoint it would be INSANE for him to turn it down....I mean INSANE.
It seems that there are two options for junior at Hendrick...either they tell Casey Mears have a nice day and pay him for next year ahead of time, and open the spot for Junior, or junior starts his own team with the help of Hendrick which is within the rules. He'll get Hendricks engines, knowledge, etc....
Any of the three....I'm OK with.

I don't think he's going to Hendrick, too many superstars on one team. I don't think he's going to Gibbs, even though Gibbs is crazy for not taking on an alcohol sponsor. Ginn racing hasn't proved they can win yet, what's the difference between Ginn and DEI right now? Not much imo. That leaves one logical choice in RCR as I believe that he (Jr Motorsports) doesn't have enough time to get all the resources together that can field a cup team next year. Driving the #33 will be a lot different than the #3. Richard has always been sort of like a dad to Jr after his father's passing.
