Just heard on the FSN broadcast that Chris Carpenter will have arthroscopic surgery on his elbow on Monday and is expected to be out until August. This after they had speculated all week that he would start on Tuesday.

Ugh, for once I hope one of my fantasy trades actually does get vetoed...

wow....im a CUB fan and im starting to feel sorry for the CARDINALS. Hancock death is quite sad. But thats compounded by this being a pretty bad team. Pujois is the CUBS version of andre dawson this year. I dont see enuff on the table here. They were world champs by getting hot at the right time as they had pretty weak regular season record last year. This team might be the worst in the division

Well, you are only 7 points behind Silent Killers. I guess it depends on how much people hate me by now. Because at this point, Rollins for Furcal would be a terrible deal.

I hate to hear it for Carpenter's sake, because when he's healthy he might very well be the best pitcher in the national league.
