    Dallas at Golden State
The Warriors came close to pulling off the improbable series upset when they led by nine points with just over three minutes left in Game Five. A 15-0 run by the Mavericks, sparked by Dirk Nowitzki's 12 points, rallied Dallas kept the Mavs alive for tonight's Game Six. But Oracle Arena has been unkind to the defending Western Conference champs, where they have lost five straight, including Games Three and Four of this series. And even with the Game Six loss, the Warriors have consistently taken advantage of the Vegas lines and are now 9-1 against the spread in the last 10 meetings with Dallas. Golden State looks like a good underdog pick (+3) in this one according to Dunkel, which has the Warriors favored straight up by 5. Dunkel Pick: Golden State (+3). Here are all of today's games.

      Vancouver at Anaheim
The Canucks salvaged a split coming out of Anaheim, but couldn't take care of business at home where they went 0-2. The Game Four loss was especially hard given that Vancouver had a two-goal lead at one point. But the Ducks forced the overtime on goals by Chris Pronger and Teemu Selanne, and won it on Travis Moen's goal. Now the Ducks return home up 3-1 in the series and owning all the momentum. Anaheim looks like a good pick to close this one out according to Dunkel, which has the Ducks favored straight up by 1 1/2. Dunkel Pick: Anaheim. Here are all of today's games.

              Thursday, May 3

Toronto Blue Jays at Cleveland Indians (-160, 10)

How good is this Cleveland lineup? Really, really good – and the Indians should feast on a vulnerable Toronto pitching staff tonight.

The Indians have scored at least four runs in all seven games of their current homestand, which ends tonight. They are 6-1 in those games, averaging over seven runs in each.

That includes 19 runs in their first two games against the Blue Jays – a number that isn’t expected to go down with Dustin McGowan, usually a reliever for Toronto, starting tonight.

McGowan started three games for the Jays last season, going 0-2 and never making it out of the fifth inning. He's making his first appearance of the year in any capacity after being called up from Triple-A on Monday.

He is the last thing Toronto’s bullpen needs after pitching a combined 8 1/3 relief innings in Cleveland’s 7-6 win last night in 11 innings.

Cliff Lee will make his first appearance of the season for the Indians. He missed the first month of the season with a strained abdomen.

              Pick: Indians -160

Minneota Twins at Tampa Bay Devil Rays (+110, 9)s

Ramon Ortiz has pitched a quality start all five times he’s taken the mound this season, and hasn’t allowed more than three runs in any start. But the 33-year-old right-hander, who sports a 4.79 career ERA, isn’t the pitcher his numbers indicate.

Ortiz put to the test tonight against a Tampa Bay lineup averaging five runs per game at home,

Minnesota hitters will also be challenged by the Devil Rays’ big righty, James Shields, who has pitched eight innings in each of his last two starts, allowing a combined six hits and three runs while striking out 21.

              Pick: Devil Rays +110

Cincinnati Reds at Houston Astros (-127, 9)

This is a bad spot for Cincinnati. The Reds are playing their final game of a nine-game road trip tonight and have to be looking forward to a week home. The Reds will host six games starting with a Friday contest against the Colorado Rockies. Cincinnati then embarks on another nine-game road trip.

The Reds are struggling to hit left-handers, posting a .244 batting average, a .686 OPS and an MLB-high 81 strikeouts in 312 at bats – the second most in the majors – against southpaws.

Cincinnati faces Houston lefty Wandy Rodriguez tonight. Rodriguez is 0-3 with a 4.50 ERA in four starts this season, but his record is better than Reds counterpart Eric Milton, who is 0-4 with a 4.71 ERA.

Rodriguez should also have his way with the free-swinging Reds. The 28-year-old has 24 strikeouts in 26 innings this season.

              Pick: Astros -127

New York Mets at Arizona Diamondbacks (+128, 9)

A value play here as the Mets kick off a seven-game West Coast road trip tonight in Arizona as a road favorite. New York also faces a pitcher it has never seen before in young Arizona right-hander Micah Owings.

Owings has had a solid start to his career for the D-Backs, allowing just five earned runs in 15 1/3 innings and going 1-1. He has missed his last two starts with a hamstring injury, but he was injured while running the bases, not while pitching, and it isn’t expected to affect him long-term.

The Mets also struggle against right-handed pitchers, relatively speaking, at least. Their .268 average against righties is actually the sixth best in baseball, but it's still 80 points lower than their MLB-leading .348 average against lefties.

Tom Glavine will start for the Mets.

              Pick: Diamondbacks +128
