Surgery possible for Adrian Peterson

The Vikings are expected to determine in the coming days whether they want top draft pick Adrian Peterson to have a plate inserted into his collarbone to aid healing. Peterson and coach Brad Childress have insisted the running back will be ready for training camp and will participate in next weekend's rookie minicamp. But they have been less resolute on how they will handle Peterson's collarbone, which he reinjured during the Fiesta Bowl.

Huh? Thought Superman was supposed to be unbeatable except for kryptonite. I believe Adrian Peterson is an amazing talent, but superman? Guy gets too hurt to be labeled that. Sorry, but that is the way it goes. No offense to you or KB. But in my humble opinion, you must complete at least 80% of your games in college to be the shit. I hope the guy comes out smoking because he is unreal in talent, but I will believe it when I see it. Calling AP Superman is kind of liking calling Michael Vick an ideal citizen. Raw talent only gets you so far. I am from whathaveyoudoneformelately camp.

No sir! I think it's ridiculous the way those fan's have no respect for Gordon. Like it or not, the guy is obviously the most talented driver out there. I'm actually embarassed to be a Jr. fan the way some of them act.
