i think he will be alright...lets not forget Notre Dame didnt have the team speed on the offense . If quinn played on USC they might have continued there run. He is more NFL ready than RUSSELL......but RUSSELL is a great athlete who will have some growing pains.Quinn will go to a team that needs him......it will hurt his pocket book earlybut help his career down the road. First of all Tony im not a dummy the MARINES thing was a joke I figured someone with your intelligence would get it. I will agree with you on one thing I am somewhat anti N.D because of the overhype machine that runs year round. Russell did play in the SEC. and unlike Notre Dame they cant pick 6 or 7 cupcakes a year and then play their toughest games at home after a by- week. If they want to prove to me and a lot of other college football fans they are serious go join a conference like the SEC, ACC, OR EVEN THE BIG EAST. They would barely finish 7-4 year round. But the money is too big for them and they dont feel they should share.

#1 - I knew the marines were a joke....was prodding you

#2 - It is not quinns fault nd has a weak schedule...i believe he is a victim of overforming his jr year when wies took over a bare cupboard team and quinn carried them....Also quinn had a great senior year.....

#3 LSU has the tougher schedule and JR had a great finish...big game on the big stage.....However i think he may be more flavor of the month and timing than anything else....Is he good....YUP.....but i think he has huge upside, but raw....Who needs a qb to throw 80 yds...he also had a worse td to int ratio....I think the draftniks get caught in momentum hype (up or down) and a few players suffer every year

#4 Am i racist??? hmmmm...i do not think so.....I will say this. The NFL is 70% black...so it makes sense that blacks commit at least if not more of the off the field crimes. This is a fact and if bringing a fact out makes me racist then i guess i am....but i doubt it....

# 5 - When it comes to M Vick i will rush to judgement because i know the humane society does not have the resources to pursue this.....MV has the best lawyers and will get off....plus animal crimes are not heavily pursued.....HE has been suspected since 01 of this so it is not new. This plus his other indiscretions do not endear him to me. His brother was getting arrested once a week and the apple does not fall far from the tree in my mind. It also involves dogs which bothers me some. So will he get off...YUP....does that mean he is innocent....HELL NO.....
