but it is reporting Green Bay is ready to trade its first round pick to the Chiefs for Larry Johnson. That would be a huge trade and may make some sense because KC says it wants to get younger (they just traded Dante Hall) and GB needs a running back after losing Ahman Green to free agency

Im all over it in KC/STL market..............Chiefs are denying everything.

Prob w/ LJ is........he is FA after this year. He wants a deal bigger than LT, like 8 years 80 million. If Chiefs keep him, he could walk after this year, so it makes some sense to deal him. Fans would be pissed, but w/ all the holes in the line and Herm's no pass offense it will be tough to win this year w/ or w/out him. Games @ Indy and Chicago on the schedule.

Dont think the Pack want to do it, too big a salary.

Johnson's actually 28, which is getting up there for a RB.

Green Bay done have a ton of cap room this year. I could see KC dealing him if they don't want to re-sign him at the end of the year for all that $. Then they'd get nothing. This probably is just another internet rumor but who knows?

Since Favre is coming back and GB is in a win-now mode and their division is just awful, I could see them doing it. Who knows about KC
